Gift giving is a way to invest in a relationship. It is a social lubricant, a way to celebrate life, love and friendship. An outreach program was carried out by PLTCI initiated by CCEOP led by Mr. Mark P. Salvia – Director. The program was in collaboration with eight departments namely Colleges of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Information and Computing Sciences, Arts and Sciences and Education, Business Education (CBE), Hospitality and Tourism Management, Midwifery, Nursing (CON), and Radiologic Technology.
The affair took place at Barangay Vista Alegre Plaza, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya and was attended by the elementary pupils together with their parents who are members of the Bangan Hill Women’s Association.
The program aims to help and reach out to young children before the start of classes. The event started 10:00 in the morning with a prayer, an opening and welcome remarks by Mr. Salvia, parlor games were introduced by CBE, CON like stop dance, Hep! Hep! Hooray! and many other more; prices were also given to winners of the games, food and school supplies were also distributed to the attendees.
The program concluded with documentation, and closing remarks by Ms. Josephine Balangatan, OIC – President of Bangan Hill Women’s Association of Vista Alegre.
